Dave Fridmann

In the summer of ‘95, Geoff Travis connected me with Dave Fridmann (member + producer of Mercury Rev/Flaming Lips) and we did a demo of two songs together, which I will try to get uploaded at some point once I transfer them from cassette tape. I fired Dave Fridmann before the record began because he said he was doing this as a  favor to Geoff and not because he liked the music. I said ‘’so you like The Flaming Lips better than my stuff?’’ and he said ‘’no i don't like them much either’’ so i said ‘’who do you like?’’ A smile came over his face and he said ‘’Mercury Rev’’.
